Company History
Phiatons origins begin with its parent company, Cresyn Company Ltd., one of the most respected names in quality consumer electronics products for almost 50 years. Cresyn Company Ltd., was founded in 1959 to develop and manufacture high quality phonograph needles. Company Chairman Jong-Bae Lee, son of company founder Jin Ki Lee, shared his fathers passion for great music and made an early career choice to pursue audio engineering. Under Mr. Lees leadership, Cresyn invested in R&D and developed a significant portfolio of patented audio technologies. Over time, these technologies have become an integral part of todays most popular leading personal audio brands. Today, Cresyn markets its own growing family of industry leading products, including noise canceling headphones, earphones, Bluetooth headsets and camera modules.

Cresyn has expanded from its headquarters in Seoul, Korea to operations in Japan, Indonesia and China with a global workforce of more than 12,000 people. VH Sound Technology
Phiatons PS 300 NC noise cancelling headphones featured the companys patented VH Sound Technology that provides deeper, richer low tones from a compact headphone design. The VH Sound Technology utilizes check valves that expertly control airflow in and out of the headphone speakers. This, in combination with the rear enclosure and closed-ear design, creates an occlusive effect for superior noise reduction. When the PS 300 NC is worn, the ear pads contract, exerting pressure on the front of the speakers. Phiatons VH Sound Technology reduces air pressure and transforms incoming noise into reversed phase signals that cancel unwanted noise. This allows real production values to come through with greater clarity.

Carbon Fiber
Phiatons Moderna MS 400 and MS 300 headphones are made with carbon graphite fiber for a stylish sporty look, strong housing and lightweight construction. The carbon fiber housing helps deliver crystal clear sound and eliminates any sound leakage. To ensure better resonance values, deep rich bass, a full-bodied midrange, and sparkling high notes, the carbon is encased in a high polymer enclosure with a double-shell structure.

Dual Balanced Armature Unit and Acoustic Impedance Control
Phiatons PS 200 earphones employ Dual Balanced Armature drivers with passive crossover that provide more bass and better high range frequency. The Acoustic Impedance Control mechanism opens and closes holes on the rear side of the speaker unit. This changes acoustic impedance of the speaker enclosure and improves low frequency sound to suit the listeners personal preference.

Phiaton Product Quality Testing
Quality engineers put each Phiaton product through a battery of tests against established ISO and IEC standards for performance, reliability and durability. Sound quality testing includes Resolution, Low Range Fidelity, High Range Fidelity, Balance, Level Linearity and Presence tests. Within this group, more in-depth studies and tests are also performed. Products are thoroughly tested for impedance and insulation resistance. Reliability tests are conducted on headbands, housings and ear cups. Drop tests and environmental test are also conducted. Select Phiaton headphones feature a modular Fold and Go design to fit in a compact carrying case. This design is tested to ensure lasting quality with frequent use. Accessory cords are made of recyclable material.
